How to Post & Comment - Tips and Proper Etiquette
Everything you need to know to get started using our class blog can be found at the following links. Please read carefully. I highly recommend using Google for your email account for this class.- Getting Started with Blogging.
- Inserting links into your post.
- Adding a picture to your post.
- Why you shouldn’t write your post in Microsoft Word.
For Posts:
- Write with an audience in mind being sure to meet the criteria of the assignment or task.
- Be clear and concise, stating which ideas are facts, opinions, or reflections.
- To inspire a discussion don't hesitate to pose questions as well.
- Use supporting evidence when appropriate.
- Proofread your post for accuracy, spelling, and grammar.
- Hyperlink any sources. (click link if you don't know how to do this!)
- Post on time.
- Before commenting, completely read and view the post and any associated articles and/or videos.
- Your comments should be a minimum of 2 sentences.
- Always be polite and appropriate. Inappropriate comments will be deleted.
- Use your comment to show why you think the topic is important/interesting/controversial.
- Use good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
